IF YOU HAVE A DRY COUGH OR HIGH TEMPERATURE OR OTHER COVID SYMPTOMS PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY UNTIL YOU HAVE DONE A NEGATIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST ON THE SAME DAY
Chelsea Medical is open as usual from 9.00am - 6pm Monday to Friday. We remain very covid secure as we are still seeing a number of patients who are significantly unwell with covid virus infections. We have a strict covid protocol and are a small practice with a small number of patients in premises with plenty of space and not forming part of a larger medical complex or hospital. 24 hour cover is accessible via our main telephone number 020 7589 2353.
We are providing face to face consultations for patients. We are also doing remote consultations by telephone or zoom when there is a known case of covid or a significant covid risk. We find emailed patient photographs are very valuable for some problems such as rashes and skin lesions. We are still distancing as much as necessary in consultations whilst maintaining the highest clinical standards.
We are NOT doing face to face consultations with patients suffering from symptoms of Covid-19 who have not done a negative lateral flow test on the day of the consultation.
To contact us please telephone 020 7589 2353 or e-mail cm@chelsealondondoctor.com
We also offer reliable private antibody and PCR throat swab (antigen) testing for the Covid-19 virus. Our laboratory is fully accredited. For the antibody test (Abbott or Roche or Roche Spike Test) you will need to phone the surgery to arrange an appointment for a blood test. For the throat swab test you will need to obtain a self testing kit from our practice (non-returnable). Self testing is simple and there are full instructions in the kit. Please telephone or email for further information. If you are a new patient you will need an introductory telephone or zoom discussion with us before testing and can register on line.
If you require urgent face to face attention for a Covid-19 infection you should dial 999 or if it is less urgent go to the 111 website. If this is not providing you with necessary help then you should ring 111 or telephone us on 020 7589 2353 for further advice and help.
